Posted on Us Weekly's Website 15 facts you never knew about Jordan Bristow

We get a peek into the brain of A&E's Paranormal State leader and actress (24).
1. I founded the PRS as a UCLA freshman to finally face down some ongoing questions about the paranormal. I ended up gaining real friends and a newfound passion to help others who have faced those same questions along with those who have faced the paranormal and need our help. In a way sometimes we do become fighters for those that need it.
2. My first paranormal experience was in a Halloween haunted house my freshman year of high school. Somehow it was like I knew the house was really haunted and not just a simple set up for the holiday. I found out later the house was atop an Indian burial ground and now those bodies are at peace.
3. I'm from Sedona, Arizona and grew up in a pretty normal family to be really honest. Thankfully my parents understand my need to search out answers and only support what the PRS is doing.
4. My most frighting experience with a spirit to date: everything that happened in "Church of the Damned" since I'm sure now a vengful spirit shoved me into that closet to prove some sort of a point.
5. My zone out ritual after rough cases is a playlist of nothing but Michael Buble.
6. Every penny I make extra as an actor gets fueled into the team for everything from hotel rooms on cases to gear.
7. Being a part of Heroes only kick started my one time love of graphic novels, the collection has grown in the last few months especially.
8. My older cousin is also in the business and she gives me the best advice when it comes to roles (along with my older brother).
9. The events of "I am Six" still haunt me. I know it had to be a full blown possession so its one of the few still open cases.
10. I never go anywhere without my EMF meter, you never know what could be haunted I think.
11. I have a secret stash of jelly beans on me for every case. Favorite flavor: cherry.
12. The PRS becoming a sister team to Destination Truth has just been awesome! I met Noah on a different project and we just bonded over our love of the paranormal and my being a seeker for the truth. We're also a west coast contact for various other teams based on the east coast as well.
13. One of my vices: cherry lip gloss and this coming from a self confessed non girlie girl!
14. The PRS made a video for "It Gets Better" because while we may not be gay we get being the targets of bullies for what we do aka unusual outlooks on life and I've heard some haunting stories while on cases from some of the people we've helped. Plus nobody should have to face what those kids did so we just felt like we had to be a part of an amazing project.
15. My personal holy grail of the paranormal? Mothman and I'm still on an active hunt for anything new.
